MarkO
Well, don't think we're going to have the 4" by 10AM I was hoping for up here at Waterville Valley area, but at least it's a dry snow. Probably closing in on 2" so far. Hopefully it picks up and we're in the 5-6" range by noon.
Mica Vim Toot
Buy a snowmobile for winter and a Screen house for spring when the black fles will be eating you alive, You and Vim Toot would be neighbors......lol A misconception. True for woodsy areas only. Be amidst open fields and the flies don't molest you until sunset. Black fies are vampires. No black fly troubles at Chateau Vim Toot: No flies on them! Ya, ok it's autumn but I just like this photo. This gang is black fly free. Those vampires live down below in the woods. As Mr. Jesse Jackson- who has never been spotted in Aroostook County- says, "Stay out de Bushes!" Damage In Tolland
okx very bullish on winds gusts to 60+ downed trees and power lines, very similiar to the storm that devestated lower fairfield cty last march. Good luck with that with it tracking south of CT lol

Nothing stopping you but the Vim Toot varmint arsenal! Vim Toot! You sound like my wife, keys are in the ignition all the time, never lock our door, if the crooks are coming, nothing a lock will do. Only downside is if the keys are in the ignition, insurance does not cover car theft.

powderfreak
You can already start to see the enhancement on radar where that big band from BUF-ART area is starting to poke into BTV. That band could surprise someone and I'm guessing it ends up just north of my location, though I hope it holds and just translates eastward instead of northeastward. Anyway, good snows here (1/2 mile vis) with only 20-25dbz so hopefully we can break into something a bit higher like 30-35dbz and then we'll rip. jt5019
according to the NWS AT 12Z A 993 HPA SURFACE LOW WAS NEAR KAGC-KLBE...WITH 3 HR PRESSURE FALLS APPROACHING 7 MB TO ITS NORTHEAST. THIS WOULD TAKE THE LOW ON A TRACK FARTHER NW THAN ANY MODEL SOLUTION...WITH THE RUC THE CLOSEST TO THIS IDEA. THE MODELS ARE LIKELY WRONG WITH THEIR SFC LOW TRACK DUE TO THEM NOT HAVING ENOUGH UPSTREAM RIDGING (BASED ON COMPARING THEIR 500 HPA HEIGHT FORECAST OVER NY/PA/NJ TO RUC ANALYSIS). Scooter just posted it's going right near Messenger Well I said canal from a few days Kevin, but looking at pressure falls im not so sure. OKX already noted in there discussion that models are too far south, I hope so, but it sure does not look like it to me. Who cares anyways, either way its 2 inches of rain no matter how you slice it. powderfreak
I don't think we've ever locked our house and I'm not even sure where my key is. Last two places I've lived we've never locked the house. In Jonesville, VT I never even had a key to the farm house we were renting. I was there for a year and never used a key.
