dryslot
Yeah, I was checking those long weenies out but i could not find one to my liking so i headed down to the Nashville nightmare instead Really? All the way down there?
moneypitmike
Looks like we might stay all snow, even over at PWM. Just over 1" QPF at both SFM and PWM on the NAM. Think I'll make a last call of 8-12 for mby. I'm going to stick with the 4-8 BOX has for me becasue I have to go to bed now before any corroborating/disagreeing models. So, hopefully things will continue to trend colder and all will be right with the world. Or at lesat our little part of it.

HoarfrostHubb
Has anyone bothered to look at the soundings? The area DPs are rising through the low to mid 20s now, with temps stagnated in the 35-40 range; 32F wet bulb is disappearing. If there is dry air off the deck - Can you explain this to a newbie? moneypitmike
B+ at best... Can you explain Tip's post? Wet bulbs disappearing? Huh? I think he's saying evap cooling cancel for some areas(?). I've been leery of the incredibly slow temp decline from an accumulation standpoint. 31.9/28 at the Pit, but most everywhere is above ferezing. So, I htink that's something to consider wrt accumulations on paved surfaces since the temps were well into the upper 30's in much of SNE today. OSUmetstud
wow...the difference in surface low position between the 18z GFS 6 hr forecast and 00z analysis of the GFS is remarkable. The low jumped ENE.
