00Z NAM looks great for the Berkshires and GC. Looks like a few hours of taint south of the Pike, but PSF should be mostly, if not all wet snow if the NAM were to verify verbatim. What looked like a miserable cold rain, could very turn out to be a textbook wet snow bomb with warning criteria snow for PSF, AQW, and ORE.

We were kind of on the edge for a while--beginning to think we might eek out more than earlier expected (though my zone had me at 4-8 with perhaps another inch tomorrow night as it was).

Thanks for the site, Mitch--it's added to my favorites.

Temp making a torurously slow drop. 32.3/21.

Man that would be the irony of all ironies would be a final solution like the GFS had the other days when it was trashed into waste management bins.

It just goes to show even the Euro has been "tough" if this is indeed the track. It was NW of albany for days. It almost looks to me like it does want to squeeze out under us and if that happens Will/Ray/You/Kev may all get buried on a change back to snow.

Then the trough of death buries coastal NH and Maine on the next one.

The NAM is doing something interesting on Sunday Night. It looses the good mid level lift and RH, but it has some lower level processes to generate some light qpf. It's generating qpf from a CF. You can see east winds near BOS converging with n-ne winds just inland. 950 winds are out of the east too, but 850 winds begin to turn sw. It almost reminds me of the lighter snows that fell on 12/20/08...almost a similar setup in some ways.

Made some changes in the last hour as the NAM was coming out. Still no changes to the jackpot ... thinking something like along and northwest of GFL-VSF-LCI with 10-15", otherwise 5-10" for most north of Rt 2, 2-5" down to the Pike

Move it south of that 5 miles, esp if you are over 1000 feet

Is Kev in bed?

He is talking in his sleep again "No! The GFS is ****! Toss it! Toss it! Noooooooo!"
