Has nothing to do with snow/rain. Winds are lackluster, precip has been spotty at best. Snow was never an issue down here, nor will it be on Sunday as the GFS is now moving to the Euro, pike north storm. Its just boring, hopefully a squall line develops and winds are realised tonight when the cold front blows through!! Hope you get buried up there!!

winds are picking up now...QPF was light-main part of the storm was .5 or so around here...

Warm up the weenie mobile.

got the hand held today. didn't have time for the full installation on the new vehicle. LOL.

it's the kind of wind you can hear moving by in other areas right now...like distant roaring even when it's not hitting you directly.

it is howling. there's a meso site on the beach in eastham...gusting to 51 knots now. fmh 46 knots

The best example of that was the massive Jan '06 wind event. Some of the strongest winds I ever witnessed. You could here it coming. It wasn't the typical tree top roar...it had a sound on another level. You know what I mean...the kind of sound when winds are 60+. Incredible.

Nice! I gained 3.5" before the final flip. You think we will change back over this afternoon/evening?

Plow went by, but I am not going to fire up the snowblower for this, unless we get a good deal more later

Sounds like we should. Hopefully in time to pick up another 2-3".

You're raining?

It was a Ip/rn mix at the time but it transitioned to rn quickly.
