nzucker
President's Day is famous for snowstorms on the East Coast, and this year yet another storm system took hold of the region on this holiday. The forecast was for an advisory level event here in Westchester from overrunning snows; however, we managed to meet warning criteria with a total snowfall of 8". It was another overperformer in this magical 10-11 Winter and brings the seasonal total to 66", just 2" shy of last year and almost double the average of 38". michsnowfreak
Nice pics, flocking powder can be even better than plastering cement! And its nice to see other areas experienced a good bust with this snow. Almost felt guilty basking in our wonderful bust (metro-Detroit area forecast 1-3" snow followed by ice, ended up with 10-11" snow, no ice)...as it appears many other areas busted on the bad side. Im thinking only the southern MN area into parts of WI received their forecasted amounts with this storm.
