tmagan
I'm sitting at 35/28 with calm wind. Upton says rain for tonight? The vast majority of the precip. will be north of Long Island and even if it does occur, it would be mostly drizzle.

jconsor
Curious what you got out there in Riverhead. You've been on the western edge of the steady precip. tonight. It's almost certainly snowing in Montauk with a Temp/dewpoint of 34/30. Block Island has snow and 34F as well. I'm sitting at 35/28 with calm wind. Upton says rain for tonight? However, if I had to venture a guess, I'd have to say we had very light rain in this location. Upon outdoor inspection this morning, the ground is barely wet. Also, I'm not seeing anything new on the old snow piles remaining on the sides of my driveway. If it would have been a very light snow that would have been the easiest place for it to accumulate. I knew it was going to be a close call, which is why I was kind of surprised to see Upton so confident about rain.
