roardog
We hardly had anything here. We had a light glaze of ice from freezing rain then a dusting of sleet/snow. Nothing to see here. The sun has been out since about mid morning here. The temp is only 32F but with the bright sun I had to put the window in my car down a little when I first left from work this afternoon. It was warm in my car. No wonder the snow is melting where the sun gets to it. The snow on the ground has that nice shiny look to it from the little bit of freezing rain last night. cyclone77
Everything melted today. Our rain soaked/frozen 1" of snow on the ground is completely gone, and it only got to 36. The sun is getting very strong already.
Chicago Storm
Looks like we ended up with about 0.20" of ice accural here. The only ice that remains at this time is on some of the trees. I just noticed there is still ice fully covering the tops of the taller trees.
