I understand, it just looks odd on a map. I actually think the northen and central part of the county will verify.

I'm surprised I'm under a WSW... I was expecting to be on the 5 inch fringe.... though I probably still am even though I'm under a warning.

I guess its time we switch up. Last night, you were the girl.

We can give each other pedis

Probably an emergency management degree... oh wait, you don't need to go to college for that. nevermind.

Interesting you bring this up, has anyone ever heard of a GIS degree? I only ask because I know enough about ESRI applications to know that they offer certificate programs as well, which is almost certainly what you have so, your point here is?

I do not have a "certificate" in GIS. I have an actual degree in Geography with Earth, Atmospheric and GIS being the main focus. I hope one day to get a Masters in GIS.

There is a GISP certificate you can get, which stands for GIS Professional, but you have to have so many years and experience under your belt, plus fill out quite the application, get references, etc in order to get one. I'm still working on getting mine by attending conferences, doing volunteer work, etc. It took my husband 6 years to get his GISP.

ESRI is looking into offering a certificate based program for people in the GIS field, but that certificate doesn't mean nearly as much as a degree and/or a GISP.

I appreciate the honesty. Its now clear you really had no point to that post other than to slam me considering both you AND your hubby are trying for a program similar to our certified emergency manager program.

There is a big difference in GISP and an ESRI certificate... that's what I tried to tell you. Thank you for not reading and if you wish to discuss this **** with me further, feel free to PM.
