thesnowsknows
radar looks a little precarious. Does anyone see the precip shield moving a little more north than modeled? It doesn't seem to be getting suppressed so much.
North Balti Zen
Stop with the radar hallucinations, snowknows. As long as the low goes to the south as progged, we'll be fine. Sleet in NE Baltimore City now.

stormitecture
Is this going to act as an Obs thread too. I didn't want to post since I don't have model/forecasting discussion, but didn't see a different thread for obs.

PhineasC
8 inches would take most areas of northern MD over 30 inches on the season. Not bad for a strong La Nina.

psuhoffman
I am on a plane right now coming back from Salt Lake CIty, we are scheduled to land at Dulles at 10:30 and then I am driving up to Manchester from there. Going to be a LONG night for me. Hopefully I get a day off tomorrow if Baltimore city schools are closed. I will need the sleep.
I-83 BLIZZARD
Heavy snow and blowing snow. Went from a mix of dime sized flakes and very fine flakes to mostly powder. Looks like over 2 inches on the ground.

It does look like some echoes are about to shift over my house but the best stuff still is north. I mentioned this in another thread and got laughed at and was accused of "hallucinating.". It's time to nowcast. D.C. will be lucky to see more than an inch at this point. The slug west over the mountains will degenerate as it traverses the apps. The models definitely took the precip too far south on their runs. Congrats North MD/ southern PA.
