SPsnowman Posted February 22, 2011 Share Posted February 22, 2011 I just witnessed that change over to all snow here in SP. 1/8th inch on the deck and starting to come down hard. just about to post for SP...still some sleet pinging around but some larger flakes dalling too now, street still looks to have puddles and be wet. thermometer at 28.8. birdsofprey02 Posted February 22, 2011 Share Posted February 22, 2011 When I got home around 6:00pm tonight, it was about 40 degrees with a light mix. Now, it is moderate snow and 26 degrees... Accumulating quite fast, haven't measured anything, but the roads are covered and the grass is about 80% covered (heightwise). Let's be happy with anything we get at this point. Still, 1-3 in NOVA/DC is possible...2/4 BWI and vicinity. Patience. Still have 5-6 hrs left, I think.
