The Dude
Ugh. Apparently my flight can't leave if it is snowing AND sleeting. We have to wait for the change over. Ground is starting to get white...

SomeguyfromTakomaPark
Wow some serious weenieism taking hold in here. Here's an observation without whining. Sleet/Snow/Rain mix in DC with temp below freezing.

Symblized
Still more sleet than snow here in Federal Hill, but I'm down at sea level on a peninsula, and it sounds like just a couple miles north is all snow.
North Balti Zen
Sorry for you guys not in this line of snow. Sucks. It's actually pouring snow pretty damn hard now where I am. Moderate to heavy, closing in on an inch on the ground. If this keeps up for the next five hours to so, I may see the low end of the 4-7 range. wfs
The heavy sleet has stopped and now it's changed over to very light snow with maybe a little sleet mixed. There's a good coating of frozen sleet on the ground/surfaces. I'm hearing sirens, people are probably wrecking on 95/198.

WVclimo
Just measured 2" at 22 degrees. But you can still "hear" it snowing. RUC says the 850-700 thicknesses don't crash here until the last 2-3 hours of precip. Hoping for some fluff after midnight.

BethesdaWX
What is wrong with you lately? I have a fever of 103 w/ the flu, go easy on me I may head to the hospital actually. Meanwhile, sleeting pretty good. The warm ground had melted the original sleet pellets, but the colder temps has formed a sheet of bumpy Icy glaze. Skywalker03
Mainly sleet in downtown Silver Spring... really pinging right now. Also definitely have some snow mixed in. Hoping we can still get an inch or two!
