And will be reporing my snow amounts when i start taking measurements, I am now back on the active skywarn spotter list as i finally re-attended the skywarn spotter class last week in Rose Tree Fire Hall. The "lee" rule of thumb, what he reports minus 2 from it.

wdrag
This is going to be an interesting night FGEN and snow growth favor MDT-PNE_NEL line for decent snowfall despite low qpf values. dry air from NYC undercutting during the night may limit amts along and N of this line in NJ... but am thinking we will see some sizable snowfall in se pa...n del before the fade to lesser amts eastward. will reeval at 515P with new gfs. NaoPos
I am also, out here in Elko Off topic/ out of region? lol. I was surprised we went to warnings. Anyone know the reason behind the lack of warnings out by chesco/lanco? I'm assuming because the average doesn't meet the 6" they need, but i'm not sure. NaoPos
5-7.5 Lock it up. I'm already quite happy the way this winter has turned out, especially during a " La NADA".. this is all just extra fun for me. Although, i was salivatating at seeing the greens on some of the local courses. I'd say 3-5" is a good and safe call for Philly/ delaware county. Also, the worry about temps being in the 50's and 60's never verified- I don't believe Philly hit 40 today?- so it should stick sooner than later. LocoAko
Man, Central NJ is really getting the shaft here, with 3-5"+ just to the north last night (~1" here) and now 3-5"+ totals just to our south. Oh well!

I really haven't been paying attention to this storm. Looking at that radar shield, you'd think that most of PA would be in for a good snowfall. What's pushing it south as it moves east?
