as usual for the swfe, precip moving in quicker than models indicate. Radar looks impressive. Problem with that is its going to cloud up quicker so we may not radiate as good as we could have.

Already down to 38.3 here and dropping rapidly. By the time night falls, we'll be below freezing no problem. Still only few clouds in the sky.

Still at 40 here. Some high clouds but nothing dramatic yet. Hoping to radiate a bit.

Looking forward to another fun evening tracking with you guys. This is our fourth or fifth time this winter, but I feel like I will enjoy staying up with y'all more this time since we had such a long break between events.

Surface temps are marginal but 850's are plenty cold. It will help that this is falling at night.

Almost certainly all the precipitation will be snow from NYC north. Down towards the southern half of Monmouth County, probably will be mixed bag.

Clear

Elevation FTW...can't wait to see some fresh snow thumbsupsmileyanim.gif

your slight elevation isn't going to make that big a difference since precip changeover isn't a big concern anymore, in fact, the areas just to your south may see the best precip, you could be too far north.
