Some historical importance with regards to the 18z gfs, could perhaps make this winter the snowiest all time in nyc, and very close at bdr. Not an opinion on the outcome, just for historical reference. I still believe this goes up the canal.

Yeah, 18z GFS is snow all the way down to NYC, looks like maybe SE CT mixes some.

But it's way far south of the ECM, ECM ENS, 18z NAM, 12z GGEM...and we know how it likes to tick NW on these OH Valley lows in the last three days.

I could see it tracking a little NW of there, but it shouldn't make it n of Boston.

Btw I think tonight we get clarity, morning at the latest. The euro has been way amped on a couple of storms only to fold inside of 72 while the gfs has done the exact same se a few times. I think we will know pretty quickly as the runs play out.

EURO is def. too amped, but the only implications for our region are some ice for GC and N ORH co.....I couldn't care less about that, but some do.

Look out for the banana hammock high that may thrust it's way down from quebec....no wait there's no high so you're probably right.

I'm just hoping ski country is safe. Will enjoy whatever comes.

Now I'm sick and I'm a terrible sick person

I honestly do not care whether it's 60 and rain or 35 and rain....the pack is garbage, anyway.....and frankly, this artic cold\rain....1-3"...rinse, repeat pattern that we have been in is getting old, FAST......this season needs to sh** of get off the pot because I'm ready for either the finale, or spring.

I know.......here comes the bombardment from folks like Kev and Steve that I should hope for snow because we will do no better than 45 and drizzle, until latter May.....fine; I'm sick of the oscillating bwtwn 0*F, rain.....1-3"er every other week.....lets do this, already.

Got an error message, but I agreed with Powderfreak that the NAM\GEM are a good comp.

Track should go anywhere from the s shore-Messenger.

I still would keep the door open for a mild solution for me..maybe even you. Might not happen, but if it does...I won't be surprised at all. But what's the difference, honestly.

Not a true snow lover as Will and I have pointed out many times. For someone who has been riding a cold, snowy March this is deeply deeply saddening

:weenie:

He's right though... the most frustrating pattern is bitter cold, rain, bitter cold, dusting, rain, bitter cold.

I had my first moment of the season this morning where I woke up and saw that it was -5F and thought, hmm, maybe this isn't so much fun anymore. I absolutely love snow, but I'm not a fan of extreme cold if it doesn't snow.

It has nothing to do with not being a snow lover. Ray is a true snow lover and so is just about everyone on here... but we aren't necessarily cold lovers. The only reason a lot of us like the cold is because it brings snow. If cold isn't going to bring snow, then it does lose its value.
