Stevo6899
Total precip from the second wave. michsnowfeak is in the bullseye. http://www.twisterda...e&archive=false JB said yesterday that the GFS is too suppressed and is lost with the second wave and likes the ukie for the second wave, which I believe was a little further NW than the 12z NAM. Stevo6899
There are a couple I still watch, mostly on Channel 7, the rest When I didn't know about the models, I remember watching the weekly planner on TWC everyday hoping for a trend in the right direction. Funny now that I look back on that. Almost always local news stations were a step behind. I agree channel 7 and sean ash is probably the best. Powerball
I don't think we're going to see much ice (as in freezing rain) now. Probably just a lot of sleet.

dissident
one narrow band of moderate to heavy snow sitting over us right now. Love it when that happens
Powerball
Just for giggles, the LOLGAPS was still south/weak with the first wave and it's also further north/stronger with the second wave.
hawkeye_wx
I got 0.57" of rain overnight with a couple little rumbles of thunder. It appears we did not get any sleet and, although the CR airport reported freezing rain for a while, I did not see any glaze on anything this morning. Basically just a garden variety spring rain event down here.
dmc76
I know personal snow maps are not very common on here but I did make one for Michigan. 12" might be high but its definitely possible from Ludington to Flint.

Cyrys
Band just approaching my area, It looks like once it starts, it'll be coming down at a fairly good rate. Just noticed the short term forecast update from the local office saying thundersnow is possible in my area across the south MSP metro.

Nice graphic. It's going to be a much tighter gradient than that I think. The UP probably doesn't see much of anything.
wisconsinwx
No precip here yet, and when it does start, it will be rain . This storm is going to bust, unfortunately considering it was trending down as it was, it won't bust much.

wisconsinwx
Btw, temp is 35 at the airport, 33 right at my locale. Waukesha (just west) looks like it is starting with freezing rain/sleet. The only positive to this storm so far is watching all the different colors approach on TWC's radar and wondering which one we will get (even though I know).
