prinsburg_wx
Just measured 7-8" before this next burst came in here in Minnetonka, MN (West Metro of Minneapolis). Received 1-2" in an hours time. Snow as heavy if not a bit heavier than that right now. Looks like wave after wave of heavy snow over the next several hours. hard to measure it here living out in the country and over 40mph winds but areas around me are reporting 8 - 10" so far so i'll go with that...nice pic by the way. Stevo6899
Well, on a flight right now from Denver to Detroit..this should be interesting. First 10,000ft or more were pretty bumpy, but it fairly smooth now. Some need cloud features, but now the sun is going down, so its hard to see them. Surprised it wasnt cancelled
WisTodd
Latest measurement -- 7.0" at 6:30pm. Wind's gone up considerably the past 2-3 hours -- 15-20, a few gusts to near 30. Temp has slid to 28.4-28.6. Hear some light sleet mixed in, but only a little. Current snow intensity is light to moderate. I can dimly see a yard light 1 mile away.
