CoastalWx
My prelim thoughts are 3"-5" for all of southern CT and NW CT, 1"-3" or 2"-4" for Hartford, Tolland, and Windham Counties. Haven't made up my mind which range to go for. Yeah those numbers look good for now. I like other link you posted as well...I look at that from time to time. Radar is definitely a little ahead of the NAM is seems. We'll have to watch to see when it makes that turn more to the ese. Either that, or the northern echoes get gobbled up from the PV moving se. That northern edge may be fun for some. I'm still a little nervous the WAA snows may get a little further northeast, but the opposite could happen as well. Clinch Leatherwood
You can quote posts where ANYONE said this would be a big deal for you or matter of fact anyone, you are portraying other people by use of the non blizzard line. All you do is inflame lately, I find your posts lately annoying and inflammatory. If you believe. This is no big deal just say so. Every time you post you try to throw some derogatory remark towards someone. Sure. I think I've made it clear for 2-3 days I thought this was no big deal and got slammed for it over and over. I don't consider even 2-4 a big deal this winter. All the never ending winter stuff was crap too and has been for two weeks now maybe going on 3-4 before it changes. Why not going b**ch at typhoon tip who pretty much refuted everything the winter is return crowd has been saying. The warning signs were there for two days on this one. I could swear I read some posts here talking about this flipping and being a 10" storm for some but maybe they were edited. And you need to lighten up. You got a ton of snow and love to jab....my comment wasn't directed at ANYONE.
CT Rain
No way not when you are serious and not trolling Kevin. My thoughts are this bumped north on the 18 on the Nam which could be a return to CT getting back into some good fronto but again it gon snow so it's all good. I have not given up on the second system having some snow for us in CT either. Yeah the odds aren't good but they definitely aren't zero either so we'll see. In terms of my normal winter posts I certainly love big storms but you're not going to find me rooting for a 2-4 inch kinda nuisance storm.... or cold for the sake of cold. What I think is occasionally unfair here is that if the 12z GFS is going wild with cold in the extended range you see 50 posts about it. If it shows a nice, tranquil mild stretch with unseasonably warm weather I'll make a post about it and get accused of trolling lol.

You guys got clipped too by a few events, but every storm screwed my area and ne mass. I hate seeing those types of lows moving out to the ese like that. You deserve some snow, though. You've been a good sport last month when just to your north was getting crushed. You, Scott, and Phil all deserve a big one...and not just a weenie. I root for cold, 2-4 inch storms, talking about warm tranquil weather in winter is like talking about football in baseball season, who gives a crap. There was more talk about a two day fookin thaw than there was about this event so your point is moot. The GFS shows a great snowstorm today but everyone is afraid to talk about it yet many many people posted about the euro cutter, just look back, it's all perception I guess. Ginx snewx
Me thinks many people are not cut out for New England weather, hear lots of baby whining about cold, snow wind everywhere today and yesterday. I hope March is just brutal belly to belly, people need to toughen up and stop being such sallies. Soft nation perhaps the reason it is all going down the crapper. I think 3-5 is a distinct possibility for many of now progged to get half of that or less. However, the bigger concern is I'll likely sleep through it. I'm in sleep catch up mode. This I think is just because everyone loves the ECMWF... not that they are afraid to talk about the GFS interior snowstorm. Even if the GFS is right, its not as snowy as you think. Lots of sleet/zr/rn in CT/RI/seMA ending as a period of snow on the 12z GFS. No one on here is ever afraid to talk about a snowstorm, lol.

I guess it's all types of exciting weather, but I secretly enjoyed those floods in March, from a met standpoint. It was too warm for snow, so at least we got something out of it. I can understand why Will was pissed off, however. He was so close to a wet snow bomb..lol.

Its when people accuse folks of trolling when they post one liners such as "long range looks warm and wet"... they say you are trolling unless you have the facts to back up your statement. However, somehow you are not trolling (or questioned) if you post an equally uneducated one-liner of "AWT long range looks like big winter cold/snow." There are definitely a lot of folks on here that just want to talk about weather, be it cold or warm. Then there's the other camp that only wants to talk if its cold/snowy, lol. I hope we all get the message that there are always 2 sides to every story....needs to be less dismissing and quabbling and more integration of thoughts and ideas......more often than not, some will verify better than others, but value can be derived from some aspects of everyone's thoughts and ideas....we're seeing that play out again.
