ski MRG
21/10, -sn, Temp continues it's steady decline and the snow is now regenerating here. Vicious Winter day with the wind. Snow looks cool falling in such a turbulent airmass.

Typhoon Tip
Nice Cutter on the euro next weekend, Low goes west up the St Lawrence......... It makes sense that this run did that - It's still 120-144 hours out and outside the Euro's wheel house. If there is going to be a correction S with that it probably won't happen until the system is crossing over to the 96 hours interval.
CoastalWx
This event was never progged to be an 8"+ event.

OKpowdah
Snow is a beautiful new white here. Come for a visit, lol. Nice snsh/squalls here right now. It's not too bad in Plymouth. Still mostly white enough that it's attractive scenery. Definitely need a couple inches to freshen things up.
HoarfrostHubb
This wind sucks. Was just out doing errands in the big Chair City and the dust being kicked up is blinding... ugh. Need some snow to squish it down. SNSH all day... 25.9F/12F

Its been pretty consistant advertising a warm solution for that storm but its out of useful range at this point like you said, So it should be taken lightly at this juncture, It could still end up with something similar in the end to that but we will see when we get closer in

weathafella
Lock 3-6 for the Pike area Monday. I could care less about the models but in truth GFS gives that.
CoastalWx
No, Its lacking the qpf to warrant those totals right now Yes, but I think some may have had hope for a large event...that's all I meant by that.

I know, I am agreeing with you scott, It really only has looked like a lt/mod event at best, I don't know why anyone would think otherwise, Probably could get a larger event if you consolidate both lows into 1 stronger storm, But being strung out keeps it moving along... weathafella
There's nothing wrong with these totals....high end advisory event and it would not take much to put it in warning areas for many...

Yup. Solid advisory snowfall. I don't think this event will warrant warnings anywhere. Locally 6+" lollies certainly possible.
weathafella
People see the Euro's scanty qpf with the exact same surface and upper air as the other globals and automatically buy it.
