weathafella
It appears we're in 2007-08 and 2008-09 SWFE style on the progs. I'll take any of those in a heartbeat.

weathafella
Well after later next week, the pattern continues to look favorable. I like it. Yeah overall it looks good. Just timing the s/w in the pattern and where they end up is the challenge.
weatherwiz
Certainly looks like the pattern is going to start becoming active once again, beginning with Sunday/Monday. Does look like alot of SWFE's though which scares me for down here, especially as we work into the early part of March. Doesn't look like BDL will end up break the record set in 1995-1996...hell even 100'' seems kind of unlikely now. Hopefully we can pull out one more 8-14'' type even then get at least 3-5 more nickel and dime events.
Ginx snewx
Full moon storms rock in the winter, severe t storms, damaging winds, brutal cold, blankets of snow. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xMUgmU_Hsjc
CoastalWx
GFS is also a little further north through hr 42. Gotta beware of the Plains low.

dendrite
We should have an event specific thread and then a LR thread discussing the rest of winter. Then an obs/banter thread for the general wx going on now (temps, snow showers, winds). You guys decide who makes them, but let's stay away from the all-in-1 thread. dendrite
To me...what you are proposing while pure means more work. You guys are so antagonistic. We need more consistency with the subforums and this is the way it goes. It isn't more work. What is more work is trying to pick out everything from one continuous huge thread. If you guys try a little rather than complain it's fairly easy.

You ever notice you are the only one that complains, we just went through a 15 storm run with everyone on target during the events. We have a wind thread. Kind of rough wording antagonistic.
