Stevo6899
The Storm with no media attention over preforms...That would be classic Only makes sense after all the hype from the feb storm. Sure we got 10-11 but it looks likes 2-4 with what chicago and missouri got.
SpartyOn
If we can get a suprise 20 inches they could be closed all week.

Stevo6899
Its solid everywhere A more flat band of precip (what the nam showed tonight), sw to ne (kinda like what the nam was showing earlier today) or a nw to se movement (RGEM)? It's never easy eh.
snowstormcanuck
So what do you think is in the cards for SW & S-Central Ont.? Tough. We'll have to see what the rest of the 0z guidance says. Right now I think you're on the southside of the bullseye zone. Might have to deal with some ice pellets.
Powerball
Mt. Clemens (Few miles NE of Detroit) however is safely cold enough for snow through the entire column, so it's close.

Can you share the link you use to determine the temps for the GFS NAM and Euro? Actually the euro is probably only for those who pay.
snowstormcanuck
Thanks for the input. What about yourself and KW? We'll probably be north of the best snow from what it looks like now, but still a moderate event.

Powerball
0zNAM QPF for DTW anyone? Precip types? DET (City Airport) - 1.10" DTW (Metro Airport) - 0.97" I don't have the exact precip types yet, but I imagine both airports see at least a brief period of sleet (City Airport is iffy, and Metro Airport would see the longest period), not much freezing rain. SpartyOn
10:1 ratios are a good bet so this could easily add up to 5-10inch snowfall south of 8mile more to north.
