dryslot
It still looks like the deformation and mid level fronto stuff gets near and north/NW of PWM pretty good. That might boost the spirits of those with the qpf fetish. I haven't looked terribly closely to be honest, but the areas that looked good yesterday still seem like game on. Maybe areas a little further south, now too. I agree, I may end up in that, I usally do well in these, GYX had 11.2 here yesterday, I had 7-12",They have 6.8" here know based on .75" qpf and 10:1 ratios thats about right, think. I will be 8 or 9 if i stay all snow
mattlacroix4
1-1.25" qpf, The nam and gfs cut it back to .75 Although ratios could be better hmm, I guess time will tell

mattlacroix4
I just checked out the snow, looks fluffier than 10-1. Defintily not 'cement', so I am wondering if we will get 12-1 or even a little better today.
MaineJayhawk
Saw Mark's earlier post about crappy snow growth. That's not a problem here -- nice, fat quickly-stacking flakes. The GYX snow map will fail in a few hours for this locale.
J.Spin
I noticed some first flakes here in Burlington at around 7:55 A.M., and it was just flurries for a while, but the snow is coming down steadily now and all surfaces have a new coating of probably ¼ inch. Allenson
Moderate snow here--1/2" or so, so far. Still 28F. I was glad to see that the low is slated to track a bit further south than was thought yesterday. Keep it a little colder and all...

MainePhotog
+SN VIS 1/2m 30.6°F Started out as wet snow, but becoming fluffier due to less water content. Measured just over 1.25" at 0900.
borderwx
yawn, 20F and grey skies. oops as I typed that saw 5 flakes come down. funny that people were spazing out yesterday cancelling everything and now loks like a whopping 4 incher for us -classic freak out. enjoy the snow all

tamarack
Saw a few tiny things in the air as I got to AUG just before 8, but nothing visible through m,y none-too-clean office wndows until 8:45. Since 9:30 it's been mod snow, visibility 1/4=3/8 mile but very small flakes so likely poor rations. Sidealk being shoveled as I type, looks like about half an inch. If the current GYX map is the way it turns out, this event will be about the 5th time this winter that the foothills were progged for 8-12" or 10-14" just 12 hr before the first flake, only to get 6-7". 1st measurable snow since 2/8, though, so I'm not complaining. Sunday 1-3" is okay, and we might get some frozen at the start of Mon-Tues thing. (And gfs has gone crazy for day 9-10, with 2-3" qpf of snow-rain/mess-snow, last few runs. Still way out there - both in time and in relation to reality.) Flakes now down to extra-tiny...
