SJonesWX
that pretty blue line in the panels that powderfreak posted goes right up me fanny. can a guy get a 10-20 mile shift south and east? pretty please?
powderfreak
SREF's really lowered total QPF quite a bit... we were at over 1" and now are at .5-.75". It cut amounts pretty much across the board. New run... Old run...
Arnold214
The difficulty of this forecast in some areas kinda reminds me of 12/16/07 a bit...almost a damned if you do, damned if you don't scenario.

Just use Kevin's motto, "Go snow or go home." lol. Seriously though, good luck. I'm excited to see how it plays out even though in S. NH I'll probably get a couple inches of slush--->rain. mahk_webstah
Damn. The more I look at that map the more I think its going to be close for me. Tonight Im going to be 15 miles due west of where the 2.4" is on that map. Its going to be close between getting like 1" and getting 5-8". I think 1" is looking more likely unfortunately, but 10 miles N of where I am might be a different story. Hopefully this verifies slightly south due to dynamics keeping it snow. amounts dropped? but qpf is up and temps a tick cooler
tamarack
GYX midmorn update backed off a bit for the foothills - now 8-12", same as mts. 12z gfs had very similar qpf, maybe a tad cooler than 06. (Also cooler for next Mon-Tues, but not cooler enough - - yet.) Clouds coming in from the SW here at AUG.

dryslot
12z Euro came in slightly SE of 0z, We stay north of the 540 line here, 0c line is right on the imediate coast, Looks like even the coast may stay all snow.......
MainePhotog
Looks like 12z GFS had shifted slightly SE as well with its track, Looks like just the coastal areas may have changeover issues as it was all the way up just south of me at 06z Glad, for this storm, that I don't live on the immediate coast. I may be far enough inland to win out on this one, but have to wait and see. NOWCAST will be a big factor in this one.
