apparently that band coming from IL must pack a bit of a punch cause PIT has me getting another 2-4" overnight. Ive gotta revel in the fact that I called this storm to the date 15 days ago. Pretty sweet feeling to be honest.

Accuweather has you getting 3-6 inches Thursday night.

Rain and snow, some heavy late, accumulating 3-6"; until then, rain and drizzle in the evening

Wow! Get a load of the Accuweather forecast for MFD on Thursday night.

Rain and freezing rain in the evening followed by 10-15" of heavy snow late; otherwise, breezy

yea. I gotta feeling i need to start looking more at mfd for my mos data. Zanesville is 35 miles away but to the south, so typically they will be warmer. Like today for instance. But the problem is, only the gfs is cold enough for snow.

Here is Mount Vernon 25 miles to my NW

Look at Findlay and Marion, Ohio. Accuweather has both of those places getting 1 to 1.5 FEET of snow Thursday night.

haha 12-18" Like I said, the problem is that it is only the gfs showing it. But with the way they handled this storm for OH anything is possible. I'll be watching for sure.

Full of awesomeness here... 24-30" lol

haha yes it is. Most of that comes from the monster the dgex has on March 1st.

GFS/GEM has feedback issues according to the HPC. I would take the GFS/GEM with a grain of salt.

Dilly, how much did you get from this past system?

6" in 5 1/2 hrs. Had a 1/2 hr of extremely heavy snow, snow flakes the size of golf balls. Biggest snow flakes I have ever seen. I was shocked it didnt thunder and lighting when that band moved through as hard as it was snowing. But I posted some pics in the photography section.

As for the gfs, it's been colder with this next system for 3 runs now. So kinda hard to just completely throw it out. Feedback issues dont always affect the entire run. but Im not yet confident about Thursday, however I also am not buying the temps the nam and euro are showing.

Yeah there was an announcement on his accuweather pro page too. Wonder what he will do now?

Weather Channel? No way..

More exposure on twc. But I don't get it, he showed no signs of leaving in his vids and stuff today. Something must have happened. And according to the one story they called for comments from accuwx and were treated rudely and hung up on. Hmm..

Grats man. Sounds like what we had up here in terms of how intense the snow was. We picked up about 8 inches in 4 1/2 hours here, and had thundersnow for a bit. Guessing you were near the jackpot for around this area then?

Good luck for this upcoming system, although I think EURO/UKIE/NAM have the right idea compared to the rest of the models (GFS/GEM)

Nope. Younstown got 8" or so. But I was in a great spot. Wasn't supposed to have switched to snow til 8 and switched around 5. County south of me stayed mix a lot longer. And then next system, I'm not buying the warm temps. Not saying it'll be cold enough for snow, but I don't think it'll be nearly as warm as the euro/nam show. I do think the next big one will be around the 1-2 of march, so was kinda glad to see some models showing it.
