earthlight
But an hour later has bumped back up to 47. Really interesting. That site radiates extremely well, which I suspect was what was happening earlier in the evening, but it seems with the front coming through and some better mixing, it has allowed the temperature to perk back up. Very strange--seems like a sensitive sensor as well..I noted it can run a bit cooler or warmer than surrounding stations when we're experiencing either. Stormlover74
Sussex and Andover did the same thing, both were in the 40s at 7pm with a light south wind and then jumped back up into the upper 50s at 8pm (on a light north wind) Very strange--seems like a sensitive sensor as well..I noted it can run a bit cooler or warmer than surrounding stations when we're experiencing either. Cfa
It's time for Spring lol, we peaked at 71.2 degrees and had a little thunderstorm to top it off. We're still close to 60 which is good.

uncle W
67 was the high in Central Park...second to the 68 in 1981...March 5th 1981 saw over 8" of snow... I checked accuwx long range for NYC and low and behold they have snow in the forecast for March 5th...It's two weeks out so it's only fantasy at this time...
