Yeah it would give us a heavier snowfall...even if we have to deal with a bit of sleet at the height. But some of them keep us all snow and quite heavy at that.

Also the 18z GFS in the longer range had one of Scott's fetishes...the sprawling high from the Canadian prairies leaking in just when it looks like we might try for a mini torch....cools us right back off into the freezer with potential for more overrunning events.

The funny thing from all of this, was that "For those about to rock" came on at this restaurant my wife and I were eating at. I had no clue a tstm was about to rip through 20 min later...lol.

Nah, nice place actually, but I cracked up when I heard that.

The general landscape took a beating and the majority of the area no longer looks epic, but I'm pleased with the amount of snow that I have come out of this with.....now lets rebuild, which should be relatively easy since this crap is so weathered that it should be very resistent to compaction.

What a night, everything about this winter has been extreme, no reason the torch should not have ended with a bang. Looks like snow next week, brief warmup next weekend and then the snow hammer is dropped for earl march?

Nothing to complain about....even the "sh8tty" torch periods have found a way to rock.
