The squall looking impressive as it starts to come ashore. Not to much activity out ahead of the line yet, though it looks like around Orlando and Melbourne , a few cells are trying to organize. Should be a fun Afternoon

Severe Tstorm warning issued for Orange, and Volusia at this time. Tornado warning for Lake for a Tstorm capable of producing a tornado. Not going to be a pretty commute across the I4 corrider this evening.

I am still just expecting primarily heavy rain and maybe an isolated wind damage report. Maybe a brief spinup in coastal Volusia or Brevard or the Lake Apopka area.

Tornado Warnings out for Cirus and Sumter Counties with Severe T-storm warnings now flying for several Central Florida counties. Line is really looking impressive south of Ocala.

No confirmed tornadoes or funnels as far as I am aware of at this point. Would not be surprised to see more tornado warnings for "storms that are capable of producing tornadoes" however.

Fairly good amount of wind damage reports coming in now. Just saw some reports around Mascotte in Lake County of large tree limbs down.

Winds picking up here in the Sea World area. Going to leave shortly to beat the worst of the weather home.

A lot of small limbs down around here. We were under a T warning but the cell died as it reached our area. It was impressive for about a 2 minutes then it was just rain. Unfortunately don't have any wind gust data as my anemometer took a crap this week.

Things looking very impressive south of Marion County though.

Haven't dug too deep but Cedar Key had a gust of 53mph. I'm sure there will be much more.

THE BEST THING IS WE GET TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN TOMORROW!

Impressive storm for the Conway/Downtown area in Orlando.

Unconfirmed Gust of 74mph from KORL (Orlando Executive Airport). Lots of small limbs, palm fronds, and leaves everywhere. Multiple trees down along Conway Rd between Hoffner and Michigan.

I personally have one tree down and all patio furniture has been blown into the pool.

It was meh... pretty gusty winds but I don't think they were above severe criteria.

Oh well, maybe tomorrow will make up for it. I missed the storm that passed through earlier which produced 2" hail, which has since grown into a nice looking supercell offshore. Pretty to look at:

I'm like 5 miles from there and hardly got anything. The line literally split in half at my location, barely even got rain.

I feel your pain man. Happened to me many times. Maybe tomorrow's action will make up for it.

I am hoping tomorrows chance of storms does pan out. I noticed the latest SPC outlook for tomorrow, while still touting the severe chances for Florida, hinted that the best chances might be over East Central Florida .

Looking over the Storm reports now. Like you said just a few tornado reports did happen, I see 2 listed and just 3 hail reports. The wind damage list is long. Like you also said , the line wasn't much but rain by time it got to me in Lakeland. Hoping for better chances tomorrow.

While some of you may have been shafted, this was by far one of the more impressive events for how widespread the wind damage is. The extreme intensity of some of the recorded winds is also impressive. It is very rare to see these type of winds in Florida Tstorms.

74mph at KORL and I saw WFTV report 85mph at KSC.

Very rare and impressive event in those areas that got it.

Oh, I agree with you. Overall this was a impressive event for the overall coverage and intesity of wind damage reports. The storm reports look like something you would expect in the Plains or Midwest storm reports. What are your thoughts on severe chances for tomorrow??

Another very stormy morning here. Heard some thunder and lightning around 5:30 or 6am (i think) and then had a heavy thunderstorm roll through around 8am.

Radar looks impressive and we are currently under a severe thunderstorm warning until 10am, reports of a tornado on the ground in northern Hillsbourogh County as well from just before 9am. Storm that produced tornado currently in northern Polk and racing East. Look out North Osceola and the OIA in the next 30 minutes or so.
