moneypitmike
it's the front...I just looked at the satellite. The winds stayed out the SW at Pittsfield in the past hour even though the front was through...I missed that. Okay. Regardless, 50* is going to fall. Up to 49.8/30. EDIT: there it goes. 40/70 Benchmark
ya know it's bad when people are tracking a cold front that's trailed about 200 miles by sub-freezing air. I know....I don't care to do that, myself.....but more power to them.

cpickett79
with full sun breaking out now i wonder what temps are gonna do between now and 3-330. i think it's pathetic that the point and click was calling for 45-46 today......is it that hard to not bust by over 5 degrees.....just wondering.....seriously. i can see QPF busts....SLP tracks off a bit ....but given 850's and even cloud cover is it that tuff to call for 50? looks like we go mid 50's with full sun . Clinch Leatherwood
where is this? If that happened in New England someone would measure 107" storm total. Sucks that the Euro lost the weekend snow event. At least it's cold for the week from today storm The 40s and 50s of today will be but a distant dream this time Tuesday. moneypitmike
I'm excited--my temp actually just ticked down. Whoo hoo. 51.2/29 off of 51.3 lol Winds beginning to get a little gusty. Just had one at 8' to 22mph from the NW. Heavy clouds. Edit: with the changes in the EC, does it still have some good wind potential over the weekend? chim chiminey
temps will probably bust 5-10 degrees too low tomorrow. to get low 20s for highs this time of year with full sun in SNE takes a polar vortex motherlode dump. weatherMA
TORCH 52.7F I thought we had a chane at 50, but man, 53!? If this forecast verifies the wind chill tommrow could be 40F colder then today, from 55F to 15F, I dont remember the last time we saw that. Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 22. Wind chill values as low as -6. Blustery, with a northwest wind between 18 and 21 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph.

ORH_wxman
The Euro is a very cold pattern at the sfc for us next week...but we might have to deal with mid-level issues. Hopefully that can stay cold enough for mostly snow. It help a lot if the NAO can trend more robust in that time frame to fight the -PNA....a -PNA/-NAO combo is good but its precarious if the PNA is really strong and the NAO is only marginal...you want them about equal strength or at least the NAO close. Mr Torchey
in the last couple minutes have gone from mid 50's with hardly any wind and cobalt blue skies to sw winds ripping and dark clouds moving in, pretty cool, love this changable weather! ORH_wxman
20's for highs from Saturday onwards//or more like 30ish? With sun it will be closer to freezing...though if we get into a CAD setup in that overrunning event where thick clouds and precip are involved, than you could see highs in the low 20s.
