cyclone77
It's only good luck if it snows in my backyard. Haha, I guess it's all open to interpretation. I think most people won't consider the new thread a failure unless the storm completely craps out.
Chicago WX
0z GFS is lolz with a retrograding low, post truncation. It's only good luck if it snows in my backyard.
Stebo
Well I think the GFS is starting to get a little bit of a clue with the clipper, beyond that its cold/suppressed bias shows its ugly face. I bet the GGEM/EURO show different things.

JoMo
00z GGEM takes a storm from central TX (1000MB, hour 168) to what looks to be Northern Kentucky (997MB, hour 192)

Stebo
If the block in the Atlantic isnt as strong there is a potential of a strong system about 10 days out, energy dumping in from the northern stream and a low ejecting out of Texas, with cold air in place. Obviously its 10 days out so take it for what its worth, but something to watch. I see the GGEM reads this thread
Chicago WX
I see the GGEM reads this thread Lock it up, throw away the keys, hide the women and children. How nice would that track be?

JoMo
Euro may look more like the GGEM in regards to the next system maybe. I'm seeing it's pushing energy into S. California at 144 where the GGEM is as well. GFS was waaaay offshore with it.

Chicago WX
From tombo: hr 180 juiced up storm number 2 down in central and eastern tx and southern ok Massive block FTL, but it sounds you may have some wiggle room for this thing to come north a little bit and deliver the goods. Yeah I guess it heads farther south. Oh well, long way to go but def better than the GFS which smashes everything to hell.
