Then you don't care about winter and the calander says its still winter here, Because unlike NYC we have much better retention for one and with our lat we will still have a snowpack come april, Its also for recreational purposes up here

It's nothing personal... I understand the recreational opportunities that snowpack enables as well as the economic implications up there. But how nice can it be to x-country ski/snowmobile on a snow-cone?

And yes, I love winter as much as anyone here... I just don't find melting snowpack, especially one that is old and crusty, to be a tragedy.

Fresh, deep snow is magical but 60 and sunshine feels pretty nice, too.

Good luck with the rest of the winter up there.

Thanks, Not taken personal, I just don't care to have May temps in Feb as well as rainy weekends in the summer thats all, Its not great having a snowcone, But we can't do anything about it, The one good factor is that it sets up to make a great base so when we get pedestrian events we are back in business, If we would receive 3-4" with no base you are not going to Ski, Snowmobile or anything else for that matter so we don't quite look at it as some do to have to have a currier & ives scene after a snowstorm, Enjoy your winter as well, You guys have done well the last couple of years down there.

Lol. Just got in from a really warm walk. 57.8/42 off a high of 58.0. Winds gusting from the W/NW, top so far 18mph.

Yup. In shelburne falls it feels like 70*. Its just disgusting out. I cant stand it. I really hope we see huge changes next week with

some snow. Its way to early to start spring. We saw the same thing last year.
