Damage In Tolland
When I was walking, I realized that many people might have a mud season this year. A lot of folks in SNE don't get those. Last year noone had one. people were mowing by mid March. i had already put lime pellets down by the 20th..and raked and dethatched it by the 15th.. Last spring was great..Once i knew winter was over i embraced it. This year it's too early for that and the pattern says much much more deep cold and snow to go

Cold Miser
. . . I stepped outside, and it was 58 freaking degrees! Like a vampire caught in the sunlight, I tried to run from what kills me. In order to save my soul I stripped naked and dove into the nearest, clean snowbank. Massive, massive torching. It's almost disgusting.
weatherwiz
With some thoughts about blocking coming back if that does indeed happen I think this spring is going to be awful here...lots of backdoors and dreary days with temps in the 30's/40's and drizzle. Mr Torchey
Temp up to 54, finally. Feels awesome out, Jules and I took a walk down on Fairfield Beach Rd, everyone is out, hippies everywhere, college kids have the kegs out, festivus conditions. Took the tarp off the outdoor furniture and setting the table and chairs up for tonight and tom night, easy to do, cocktails and grill time. Its nice knowing that winter returns next week, but enjoying this mini break!! Fairfield U coeds in minis for the win.

Been dead in the water, they now say the pavilion wont be done till July, but the harsh winter will set it back even later, but its going to be sweet when its done.............college kids on reef rd were certainly having fun in the sun. Mr Torchey
Just picked my son up from daycare, we have about 90% snowpack, a few bare patches in extreme southern exposure locations, while northern exposure is stout. However, some serious melting going on, and much more overnight and especially tomorrow into tomorrow evening, I would imagine we come out the other side with about 30-50% snowcover.
