I can see grass under the tree across the street for the first time in like 6 weeks or so. More than 3-4 inches in sunny spots anyway The snow stick you see in the front there has lost 3.5" since yesterday evening down to 20.5" now. It gets decent sun there. The sunniest spots that dont get any shade at all may have lost 4" or slightly more. The shady spots more like 2". The side yard in full sun has 15". Fortunately, the temps tumbled several hours later and we've picked up some snow since then. The old logging road leads to some great backcountry skiing. Some nice steep pitches.
