I live in a neighborhood pretty close to some shopping centers in East york so I have all sorts of light pollution, but during a snow fall it looks AWESOME. It's like the whole area has floodlights. So now, I need to figure out what to do with the fact that I'm supposed to be driving home from Baltimore tonight at around midnight in a 15 passenger rear-wheel drive van. ugh.

Welp just woke up a bout an hour ago. Pleasantly surprised to see i'm in the winter storm watch for 4-8 this eve. Though i'm thinking it could be more of a 4-6 incher in this end of the county. What i'm not pleasantly surprised about is the fact that there is actually still ice on the trees here, which is a rarity once things have stopped for awhile... for usually the warm punch follows the precip. Not today with this setup. Trees are gonna be hanging mighty low tonight.

Is it just me or does the precipitation field look further north, the LP looks further to the north also. The radar looks juicy, I think somebody gets close to 10" with this next batch in central and southern PA! Is Pittsburgh reporting rain? looks like it according to some of the radars I'v been looking at.

I hope this isn't too OT, but I had to vent to folks who understand. This is an e-mail I just got from the booking agent of a concert in Baltimore tonight....

"i dont plan on cancelling the show! mainly because i don't think it'll snow but also because it should be too warm today for snow?? low of 30 sooo fingers crossed :) "

Is this really how she's making her decision??! people.....
