audioguy3107
Heck I even saw where a plane caused a cloud hole that made it drop about 2 inches of snow in about a 5 X 20 mile stretch. I know I should back that up with a link but if someone tries to bust me I''ll try to find it. Uhhhh......What?!? I think we'd all like to see a link for that "phenomena." superjames1992
Uhhhh......What?!? I think we'd all like to see a link for that "phenomena." A plane can cause the Bergeron Process to take place when it flies through. 2" of snow seems kind of fishy, though. I highly doubt that. However, planes flying through clouds can create holes where the cloud snows itself out (although this snow is usually virga). Example:

Lookout
As cool as that stuff is, it needs to go into the banter thread, not the *model* discussion thread. I'll leave it this time since we are at the end of the thread and need a new one but we need to keep it on topic please. That said, someone please do the honors of starting a new one. Lookout
Reports of snow just west of downtown Birmingham, AL. If that is true, that is pretty impressive considering temps are in the mid 40s there. Amazing temp change after the snow starts in al. Temps are going from the low 40s to 32/33 in a matter of minutes.
