Tomorrow sounds like a large hail day... but I mean more that iso tor threat Ian that SPC mentioned

the s/w trough comes through too early for much torn risk but we'll see. i think spc is saying the risk is negligble.

THESE STORMS ARE PRODUCING FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING. MOVE

Wooo! Heaviest core is just south of me, and thereby south of Tysons. Probably right along Rt 50 on the west side of the Beltway.

A quick photomerge (3 pics) looking west-southwest from I-270 & Shady Grove Rd. in Rockville. This was toward the end of the storms. I'll have more to add. This is just the first.

for reference, the lights on the far left edge in the distance, that's Reston, VA. Yes...you can almost see the plains landing at IAD from here. The light streak is a plane.
