michsnowfreak
Snapped lots of neighborhood scenes the last few days...its been a while since weve had this deep of snowpack, especially with the water content of the pack (~2"). Other then the inconvenience of not seeing when you are turning half the corners due to snowbanks...its awesome! CONTINUE...

michsnowfreak
Josh your snow pack crushes mine, you probably have at least 4" more than me. Sorry to hear that. At least your snowpack is still deep and pristine Im sure, but i admit one of my favorite things was that the snowpack exceeded the cutoff point in recent years: Peak depth imby (though I started keeping snowfall records in 1995, I didnt start snow depth until 1999-00, damn shame I missed Jan 1999 lol): 2010-11: 16" 2009-10: 12" 2008-09: 14" 2007-08: 10" 2006-07: 10" 2005-06: 9" 2004-05: 11" 2003-04: 8" 2002-03: 12" 2001-02: 8" 2000-01: 13" 1999-00: 7"

michsnowfreak
never ending snow, congrats! It has been awesome how snow has just been falling almost constantly. This week however, looks like the flakes take a break. Sunny skies, bitter cold, and deep snowpack is the story this week. So bright this morning it hurt the eyes. Snapped this pic as I left for work, the snow/sun combo so bright it made my phone camera give an almost fake glow to the snow!
