I agree. I know the NE MA climo very well.

But I won't lie...I will have lost a lot of my snow mojo if I leave ORH...despite what pistol "bear-hunting" pete says or MPM....ORH and nearby is the snow capital of SNE for populated areas...and that will hurt losing that along with the ice storm climo. While I don't love ice storms, they do "protect" the snow pack quite a bit as I'm sure you saw from my pics earlier tonight that I took on winter hill. (in the epic snow depth thread and my torch thread)...its never cool for a snow weenie to move to a lesser favorable spot.

LOL!

Perhaps you are missing the subtle nuance of my humor. Snowing at a decent clip, Feeling a bit under the weather but seeing the snow falling makes me happy.

No disagreement Pete. Its lovely. I assume its sticking to all limbs there too like here since you are like 29-30F vs my 30.7F. Wet snow is the best. Sticking there better than here.

All kidding aside, I really love snow in all it's forms. In the last week or so I've heard so many people grousing about what a hassle all the snow is and I simply can't relate. Then when I come in here, hoping to find refuge amongst the other snowlovers I read posts from BIrving and CTRain cheering for the demise of Winter. Truly disturbing, although, seeing how BIrving can't drive in the snow and knowing he drives for UPS, I can at least understand his motivation comes from self preservation. Ryan just doesn't want to get messy snow on his slacks.lol Yes, the snow is clinging to everything. Not sure how much but it looks like about 2", there's a shark fin antenna on the Jetta that's about 2.5" and it's not quite covered yet. Hoping to get through the lull with little or no loss of snow before we gat active again. I would really like to build on the base that's here. If that were to happen we might be able to get to some record snowdepth here.

3" of new snow here and light to moderate snow. Definitely a bit of an overachiever here. We could pull off a solid 5" to 6" by the time this is done, particularly if we get some good squalls/upslope with the front later. Going to make an interesting drive for me to catch an early flight out of BDL as it is still scheduled to go. Better get going as I-90 and I-91 probably slushy and slow, especially just east of me in GC.
