Jebman
Light snow and flurries continue in Dale City as stronger radar returns progress toward my backyard Richmond should be seeing steady snow, moderate at times. South Virginia has been getting plenty of snow this "winter"

Jebman
27 degrees with a 25 degree dewpoint with steady light snow in Dale City at 10pm. My driveway is white, car is white, parts of the road are white. Picked up a quarter inch worth of snow. It's fun to watch. This is already an overperformer. We had a 40 percent chance of snow. It's been snowing since 615pm tonight - and the main window of opportunity is 10pm to 4am I'm stoked!!!!

Jebman
The snow is heavier now as of 1032pm. It is falling so thickly though with small flakes, that I would almost have to call it moderate snow. We are working on half an inch. I know this because my lawn is turning white now - that usually is what happens when we hit the half inch mark for snow accumulations. Radar is not representative of what I am observing - This snow is getting heavier and it is steady - has been steady especially since about 9pm. I have more than a coating now - and more is piling up I'll keep you posted
weathervswife
Big flakes. I've got .5" on the deck now, and it's just pouring. I mean this is objectively S+. WOOOO!!!
Jebman
As for ratios tonight - It is now 26 degrees. I wonder what ratios that is - This snow is not wet. It is all sparkly. I think I probably have at least 15 - 1 ratios. If some of those green returns can just kiss my BY - I may pile up a quick inch or so.
weathervswife
I'm upping it to 1" now with continued S+. Radar sucks however.

Ravenmaniac
That 1-2 inches for Annapolis and 1 inch for Baltimore from Justin Berk was a little over aggressive. Divide it by about 8 or 10 and that's what we got here. Just enough to remind us it's still winter, until the warm-up next week. Question at this point is, will the warm-up last long enough to reduce our chances for a significant storm to end the winter. Of course DT's facebook posts seem to indicate that it will, but then relying on the long range Euro this year hasn't yielded great results.
