valerie
Only in the 4 States would a 4 wheel drive still be required to get into my driveway with the temperature at 60º. that is the truth i still have a pile where the snowplow came down.....and only patches of grass but still 90% snow. Ellinwood
Boomers w/ severe Sunday night for you guys? I'm liking the setup Models aren't doing justice to the lower levels at all... temps in the 70s easy, with enough UL instability and plenty of wind shear to create some fun. JoMo
One of the first signs of spring appeared here with the sighting of the first robin here. I've had Robins all winter. They are very territorial and like to fight with other robins a lot.

Now its total mud and the local stream down the street is at flood stage. The good thing is all this wind and warmth the ground is drying out very fast. This weather is spoiling me, I went for a hike earlier down to a bigger stream and fished a little bit. Was such a wondeful 4 mile little hike. And i agree Im ready for spring now and severe weather also. Amazing how fast the winter went to drab and boring and me thinking we were gonna only get probly 10" of snow at best for the whole season to BAM up to 34" within a few weeks. It was fun and nice while it lasted
ouamber
Does anyone see anymore snow in the future? I love this weather, but it's doing a number on my allergies!! I just want one more snow system, and then I'm ready for storm chasing:)

JoMo
yeah been watching that system, it's too early to say anything really as it's one of those things that look to be marginal. There's also timing differences coming into effect.

SEMIweather
ok we best have another snow i won a snowsuit for my daughter on ebay today lol! oh and my dad bought me a shovel! Nah, it's severe weather season now. In all seriousness, at least things are going to get more exciting in the next couple of weeks, no matter how it turns out in terms of severe wx and/or snow. Nothing is more boring than 70 degrees and sunny every day, a.k.a. the last week.
backdoorfront
ok we best have another snow i won a snowsuit for my daughter on ebay today lol! oh and my dad bought me a shovel! You have two items that won't go bad. Your daughter might outgrow the snowsuit depending on her age. I bought an electric snowblower at a very good price in January 2007 after 18" snow in December 2006. It sat in my basement in the box for four years. I was patting myself on the back for buying it this snow season. As much as I want to see spring come, I'd like seasonable weather that doesn't force everthing into bloom only to see it all freeze later.

Wx 24/7
SPC has us in the Day 5 severe weather probability range. Best dynamics look to be south of most of us, but this could be a big severe outbreak. The way the models shift, we are definitely not out of the woods by any stretch of the imagination. I wouldn't mind the GFS trending about 6-12 hours slower or further NW. We'll see what happens. The potential is pretty good.

SEMIweather
I'm ready to hear thunder... who is with me? YES! Even though I'm disappointed that the brunt of the effects from this system are going to be to the east of me, I'm happy that there's still a good shot at some elevated convection late tonight into tomorrow morning. JoMo
I'd still rather it be snow. Looks like some heavy heavy rain though. The Sat/Sunday system looks more interesting for severe weather chances.

JoMo
00z NAM was a little more robust with dewpoints over OK tomorrow. Looks to take the low pressure a bit farther NW compared to the 18z. By hour 24, it's right over Joplin.
