NwWhiteOut
March is always a toss up. It can be snowing one day and 73 two days later like last year The big plus is this probably helped with the drought. I hear ya there lol....I have seen that happen time after time. Gotta love the crazy weather here. Still snow showering here picked up exactly 4.5" . If it wasnt for those few heavy bands last night i probly would have gotten a dusting....amazing what they got in arkansas damn thats nuts! To be honest im ready for the meltdown and warmer weather im just going to stir crazy now lol. Cabin feever is setting in haha
Ozarkwx
There are some really different snow totals from areas less than 15 miles apart in NW AR. Even if God whispered in your ear Monday that the NAM was going to be the most accurate model for this storm, how in the world could you forecast 10" for XNA (the main airport) and 22" for the airfield in Springdale? I've seen 22" for Rogers via NWS. Highfill had 20"? This is via a NWS summary at 12:29 PM.
SnowGoose69
Tulsa needs 3.6" by the end of December to have the snowiest year on record. They'll probably get it...especially if we get the weak el nino developing for next fall and winter as some ENSO models are suggesting.
electronicmaji
Those NWA reports have to be off. We have at least 20 in Elm Springs and it's only a couple miles away from highfill.

Wx 24/7
Is anyone hearing about another pileup on I-44 near Miami, OK? My stepdad called and said it was very foggy there. Then all of a sudden the cars came to a standstill in front of him. A semi in front of him jackknifed trying to get stopped. The Oklahoma DOT website is useless and none of the Tulsa TV stations have nothing. Thanks!
