From Wilmington...

FURTHER NORTH...A DECENT SNOW EVENT APPEARS TO BE SETTING UP NORTH

OF THE LOW TRACK AS SNOW CONTINUES TO INCREASE IN COVERAGE AND

INTENSITY ACROSS INDIANA...INVOF LOW-LEVEL DEFORMATION AXIS. LIFT

ACROSS THIS REGION WILL BE ENHANCED BY A DEVELOPING TROWAL

EXTENDING FROM CENTRAL OHIO INTO NORTHERN INDIANA...IN ADDITION TO

LOW LEVEL CONVERGENCE AHEAD OF A 45-KT 850 HPA JET NOSING INTO THE

I-70 CORRIDOR. THIS CONVERGENCE COULD INTERACT WITH TEMP GRADIENT

JUST NORTH OF THE TROWAL TO LEAD TO ENHANCED FRONTOGENESIS AND

ELEVATED SNOWFALL RATES ACROSS THE FAR NORTHERN CWA THIS

AFTERNOON. RUC SEEMS TO HAVE A DECENT HANDLE ON THIS...PRODUCING

ENHANCED OMEGA FIELDS RIGHT AROUND 700 HPA. THIS HAPPENS TO

COINCIDE DIRECTLY WITH THE BEST DENDRETIC GROWTH REGION...BUT THIS

REGION IS NOT VERY DEEP DUE TO HIGHER LAPSE RATES IN THIS PART OF

THE ATMOSPHERE. STILL...CONCERN IS INCREASING THAT THERE COULD BE

A BAND OF SNOW SHAPING UP NEAR THE CWA BORDER THAT PRODUCES SNOW

AMOUNTS APPROACHING WARNING CRITERIA WHICH IS 6 INCHES. WILL

CONTINUE TO MONITOR TRENDS ACROSS INDIANA TO SEE IF AN UPGRADE IS

WARRANTED...BUT FOR NOW WILL GO WITH AMOUNTS JUST UNDER

CRITERA UP THERE...GENERALLY IN THE 4 TO 5 INCH RANGE. WILL LIKELY

SEE A FAIRLY SHARP CUTOFF BETWEEN THESE SNOW AMOUNTS AND LESSER

AMOUNTS ACROSS THE DAYTON-COLUMBUS CORRIDOR...WITH ONLY AN INCH

OR TWO OF ACCUM EXPECTED HERE...AND ONLY AN INCH OR LESS AS YOU

GET CLOSER TO CINCY/CHILLICOTHE.

+SN video my house -

Probably going to get relatively screwed here, but to the tune of 3-4" instead of 4-5" as a nice little bit of dry pockets have set up right through LAF. No matter though, we'll still make out quite nicely. Happy to see the Indiana posters getting drilled today. :)

Even the screw zone gets lucky every once in awhile.
