dabize
It will tomorrow. Sounds painful! Feb sun and a non-Arctic airmass means torch tomorrow? I haven't really been keeping up with the models I had been assuming that a S flow would be needed to keep us in the 40s, especially with all the snowcover. CoastalWx
Logan never got to the boundary, while I got to 42F. Went right over my head. Pretty cool stuff. Only about 6 miles or so ssw of KBOS. The fog got very dense around here, so I knew the boundary was close by.

CoastalWx
34.9. Still at least we avoided the 50 it would seem. Boundary stopped right over me. The problem is that we are mild right through tomorrow aftn. I wish it were one of those cutters with an arctic boundary to come through.

weatherwiz
Had to chop down some icicles from my back porch before they killed someone. With the winds picking up every once in a while you hear icicles fall and it sounds like glass breaking

weatherwiz
I saw icicles hanging off of roofs swinging to and fro. Don't want to be under one of those! Some of these aren't tiny either...they could be tooth picks for big foot. My brother said they even closed some sidewalks in downtown Hartford b/c icicles were falling all over the place and it was too dangerous to walk. This is a perfect way to end up on 1000 Ways to Die. CoastalWx
The snow down south should be fine. This water content and ice content is amazing. Not much damage, and if messenger has his snow..most other places will. Again, it really takes a mutli say torch to really damage the snow. I haven't lost much today. JJBASHB
Snowing on top of the skating rink which is my neighborhood. The 1" of compacted snow on the road before the storm has turned into a half inch of solid ice. 1/8-1/4" of ice on everything.
