moneypitmike
Just stepping back in to read of all the craziness that's going on in much of SNE--wild stuff out there!!! Not so wild here. Had a batch of heavy rain (zr, I imagine) at abou 9:00 or so pass through. Temp has spiked here--up to 31.4/30.
weatherwiz
I'm here...been reading and getting caught up. I just found out a few hours ago my mom suffered a heart attack which explains why she wasn't home but her car was when I got home from work...it occurred around 4:00 and I found out around 8:00 so I went through a period of freaking the hell out and trying to get caught up on the situation but thankfully things sound positive. From what I've read though this is one helluva system...saw the ML lapse rate map Sam posted...that's one thing that will do it for you.

weatherwiz
Thanks everyone. I've been talking with quite a bit of people and getting updated from my family and things definitely sound good. She is doing fine, talking fine, and feeling fine...a little weak but in very stable condition. They worked on clearing one clogged artery and will work on the other in the coming days. The scariest few hours I've ever had...came completely out of nowhere and I was really freaking out. She is doing fine so I can relax now. Didn't get anything at all here at all...sounds like some pretty amazing weather for some, definitely a pretty crazy winter that has thrown just about everything at us. Let's keep it going! moneypitmike
I wonder what p-type is in this next batch coming through. Not as exciting as the thunder, lightning, and strong winds some of you are getting. But perhaps, just perhaps, we'll get a coda of snow on this system. I'm out. 31.4/

40/70 Benchmark
If yu look at that little notch of precip that went through ORH moving due east, after the main line flew nw....I think that is the demarcation btwn the warm sector and the back edge......I was thinking that before Will added that. wxmanmitch
RA/SN mix here with that next batch. Mostly RA, but it should trend toward snow as temperatures cool a bit.
