Lol...what about the event where that walt kept saying to not give up on...then you went to bed and awoke to like 6 inches of new snow, lol.

Feb 29-Mar 1, 2008...it looked like crap on radar, then I went to bed instead of tracking it...woke up and had to rush out the door for an early breakfast meeting and drove in a whiteout, lol. CF made it back to 495 or just W and enhanced the snowfall in a narrow stripe. Had 7.5" or something.

I had no idea what was happening until I got back home.

That could have been one of the worst model performances ever since computers were invented.. no lie..

If we had a winter like last year we would here more statements like that.. but the epic winter helps moderate that.. I mean.. the gfs and Nam were out to sea 24 hours ago

. Now they are in Albany??? What's that? 500 miles 48 hours out.. lol

That said... Zr storm here

That's pretty crazy but I believe it. That's a very noticeable ambient temperature change, haha.

Radiated like crazy last night. And then had some decent WAA this afternoon as mid level s/w ridging advanced eastward, combined with abundant solar heating = -16F to 31F in 6 hours.
