Chicago Storm

pull out the old one...it should suffice. gotta admit I got drawn into JB's superstorm hype late last week. In fairness he wasn't the only met spouting about how the pattern should produce something much more than models were showing.

LOL the rain is actually spreading NW through central OH LMAO

WOW - I was thinking a band of 2-4 maybe 3-5 for west KY but it ended up being 8-10"!!!!!

Mega forecast bust for our region. School buses are stuck - snow plows off the road. Crazy!

Second major snowfall forecast bust in 48 hours. Areas that were forecast the other day to get 1" had 4-8" with the Saturday morning event.

Now this!

Yea, and this is the second one in a row models showed me getting 2-4 and 2nd in a row with nothing. My total for the year is around 12.2..

This fella said the GFS ensembles went north and the UKIE went north from 00z. I am not buying a fast northward trend. The fat lady has sung on the phantom storm.

ensembles appear a bit north but no where near close to us....ukie is still well southeast and out....euro the same.

not even a chance of a flurry for that one.. Light snow falling here but still appears the heavier stuff will stay east.

dry slotting anyways.. I'll bet money we get a big storm at the end of the month/early march when it'll melt off in 3 days. just a feeling.
