HoarfrostHubb
I also admitted that I was just spoiled and coming down off of the high......and that this winter has been epic. no... it's all over... prepare the frisbees
40/70 Benchmark
JK dude. I think you get 2-3 nice refresher and look out for some nasty squalls up there tomorrow, could be some very very nasty road conditions, salt sand washed off and moist road conditions. I could fathom 3", but I'm calling for 1-2".....see 4" as very unlikely.
40/70 Benchmark
no... it's all over... prepare the frisbees I think that we are done with major snowstorms until March.
cpickett79
As it will continue to trend lighter and SE with the QPF over the next 12 hours and it affects nobody... C'mon you know this... you've preached it every storm or more painfully it will be rain.

Clinch Leatherwood
That will have to be watched.....RUC nailed that event a couple of weeks ago, when most guidance was whififng everone but your area. As it will continue to trend lighter and SE with the QPF over the next 12 hours and it affects nobody... C'mon you know this... you've preached it every storm About half the time the RUC has been right this winter even outside of 12 hours. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a period of more significant precip in coastal areas. That said, the new RUC did just shift SE some

Ginx snewx
I think he's right but I also think we get multiple moderate events. I think that Miller B has a shot next week and the end of the month might be a phase change event. Who knows really though
wxsniss
RUC continues luring us to nowcast tonight, that 1"/hr (if it's actually snow!) is not too far off, looks like it barely clips the Cape tomorrow morning And... now 5 consecutive GFS runs of some kind of Valentine's Day Miller B... albeit in increasingly crappy form:
CoastalWx
I think that Miller B has a shot next week and the end of the month might be a phase change event. wxsniss
Was he being sarcastic...? 0.1" qpf or 0.1" snow... ? Because the 0.1" qpf line is pretty damn close, clips the Cape on the latest RUC...

ORH_wxman
I think the Miller B is more for ME or Montreal. Hopefully I'm wrong. Yeah as of now it looks better further north. Its more of a torch delay mechanism than a snow threat as the way it looks now, but given its at least a week out, who knows for sure. Could look a lot better as we get closer. It would be nice to weasel a moderate event out of that horrid setup.

I wish that PV would sink south, like it will on Thursday.
40/70 Benchmark
Still 27" at the snow stake.....amazing that I only lost 1" today and 1", yestrerday......but my yard isn't terribly exposed. Sh** is solid as a rock.
40/70 Benchmark
Good, we'll need that one. Pete...what we are suggesting isn't that unreasonable....so we go 3 weeks without a 10"+ event....I'm just about positive that we get at least one more in March.
