ORH_wxman
Euro?? Pretty status quo...mostly about 0.20" to some 0.25"+ areas. A few closer to 0.15"....1-3" with some 4 spots around would be my call.

free_man
When you are as spoiled as we were in January, it makes any type of milder pattern seem a lot more anomalous and rafter-inducing than it really is. As some of us said before, it was amazing we went this long with no real milder pattern on the horizon to speak of until now. It is amazing we haven't had any type of thaw all, it does make up for the previous futility. Nov/Dec sucked, though fairly cold.

ORH_wxman
Sounds good. Is that for all of SNE..or just interior? Coastal areas will have some BL issues to contend with. It cooled off its sfc temps decently for 12z tomorrow though...it has the interior in the upper 20s vs like 32-34F.

Once you start sliding into mid-February with stronger-feeling sun and no threats on the horizon, it starts to feel as if the clock is beginning to wind down. Yeah the warm mongers will have to go back into hibernation this week when the arctic front passes...gonna be a brutal airmass for a couple days. Highs in the teens on Thursday probably for hills and low-mid 20s elsewhere. Lots of lows in single digits with probably usual sheltered spots below 0F again. moneypitmike
Channel 40 out here is calling for 1-3 in the western hills of northwest MA and NW CT. Soutth and east of there, a coating to spot 2". Not sure if 22 has changed it's map or not, but it's sitll showing 2-4 west, 1-3 south and east. ORH_wxman
When is the timeframe for best accumulating snow? is it tomorrow morning or late tonite? Early tomorrow morning...probably between about 6am and 9am...but its hard to pinpoint the inverted trough setups...could be snowing for hours on either side fo that with heavier bursts or it could be doing not much at all.
