moneypitmike
disaster right now with strong gusty winds combined with ice accreted on everything. Awoke last night ot ripping winds that were not part of the forecast from Franklin County. So neat to hear the ice being dropped form the trees in the wind and shattering like glass on whatever it hit. Gusted to 34mph at 5' wtih a forecast that had winds 15-20mph. Looks like a small refresher coming up tomorrow night. Just remember, a little is always better than none. 30.6/
moneypitmike
For most folks, the warmth of last night coupled with today's mild temps/sun will make for some really soft snow conditions. Hope you're not planning to do any x-country skiing on an ungroomed trail! lol. The upcoming snow, even light, will be a real boon to freshen things up. Damage In Tolland
Monday night/Tuesday looks like a Central and eastern SNE special 3-6 on the Euro/GGEM/ GEFS...not bad. I had a feeling the Thursday storm was a complete miss. Torch doesn;t look bad on the Euro days 9-10 either

Torch doesn;t look bad on the Euro days 9-10 either I guess HPC's considering some mixing in those areas for the map they put out? edit: wind blew the tarp from my snowblower 100 yards away. Hopefully it'll still be there when I finish my coffee and get dressed. Wind still blowing pretty good, so it may be gone for good, ftl.

So, it looks like my rebound begins at 27.6. Hopefully, there will be minimal time above freezing. Even so, the sun will be doing it's work. Let's start adding to the snowpack rather than hoping for conditions to help conserve it.
