Ok so we're on page 37 of a thread dedicated to a snow storm that didn't even happen, and if it did happen would have ended over 24 hours ago?

yeah this is totally normal.

There was a storm although it became more stretched out as it moved east, but it did produce 1-4 inches of snow across eastern North Carolina and southeastern Virginia and even around an inch for parts of Delaware and far southern New Jersey. This was the 'event' that some of the model guidance was showing a decent hit on the area but then it became a more flatter and progressive system. The light snow that made it up into a portion of our area was mainly due to an upper-level jet which was able to generate enough lift for a time this far north. Just wanted to add some discussion here given the bickering that has occurred in the last few pages or so.
