Boreal
Bangor, PA 2.5" (est.) -accumulated on all surfaces.
NortheastPAWx
Not sure of accumulations, but it had to be at least 3" I would guess. At least if the report of 3.2" from Harvey's Lake is correct.
Pohopoco
Just a peek over 3" here(as reported earlier) than about .05 Fr.Drizzle/Fr.Fog...temp now at 34 and my trees are unloading...also pea soup fog the last few hours...Did anyone else up here have a long low rumble about 03:30 to 04 or so??? I know I "heard" it, my dog heard something also he was up,he hates that stuff...I was just getting up and I didn't see a flash, but it was snowing hard when I looked out... ParanormalWx
4-8" surprised me. I'm thinking more like 2-5" within the LV, but we'll see.
eastonwx
4-8" surprised me. I'm thinking more like 2-5" within the LV, but we'll see. Accuwx puts the wet blanket on this event: Ch. 69 says maybe 3-4" in Berks, LV; Ch. 6 Philly says maybe an inch in Allentown on grassy surfaces. Quite the contrast to NWS
RkTec
We will see if these numbers decrease, stay the same or increase throughout the day today. lol
goombatommy
We will see if these numbers decrease, stay the same or increase throughout the day today. lol Reading Mt. Holly's AFD made it sound like they're concerned with mixing issues/precip type around the southern lehigh valley (following rt. 78). Yet they have 6.9" for ABE. Either or - winter's last HOORAH! LVblizzard
I think we get a good amount of snow/sleet here but it'll have trouble sticking. 2-4" is my call with maybe close to 6" towards Bangor/Stroudsburg.
wederwarrior
NWS has had one heck of a season with their predictions..... we shall see. I share in skeptisism, but they have been on this year BTW.... WRF has 10+ widespread
NortheastPAWx
The big snow amounts, of course, fall to if we can get the coastal to throw back precip. ARW does this, NMM crushes it south.
Pohopoco
Whatever model or blend they used for the high today definitely burped...upper 40's forecast, reality here was 38 and change for about 15 minutes about 16:00 or so,since trending back, now at 36.5...my woods still holding about an inch of snowcover, grassy area's are about 50%...
