You should try being on the wrong side of the cutoff for all storms.

Yeah that would be worse, at least I did o.k. with the Jan 26 storm, but for the rest I was on the wrong side of the cutoff with similar amounts to what you have gotten. You probably got screwed worse last year than I did too.

Hopefully the past 2 year pattern is just that, the past and it moves north next year.

  • 4 weeks later...

Lets bring this one back to life again. Looks like an extended period of "wintry like" weather coming up.Chances Sunday as well as wednesday and wed. night I am leaving for Mexico on Wednesday so I am hoping the snow holds off until later in the week. Anyone think we have a good chance to see warning type snow?

I think it is a little to early to answer that question.

The potential is there on the models if the surface temperatures are cold enough to drop measurable snow in some locations in East Central PA..Liquid potential looks to be around .50-.75 inches ...

Thanks for the obs guys, I'm north of NYC and waiting for the precip to hit. Temperatures are a little mild down here but the radar looks excellent and has that "snow look" to it. Too bad it's 37F but we'll see how the first band starts.

My parents have a house at 1500' in Wayne County, NE PA, they look as if they're about to get hit with some good snows. Wintry pattern for late March, fantastic!
